E. This study aims to determine: (1) the simultaneous influence of linguistic
intelligence and learning independence on English learning achievement
of private junior high school students in Bogor Regency; (2) the influence
of linguistic intelligence on English learning achievement of private junior
high school students in Bogor Regency; and (3) the influence of learning
independence on English learning achievement of private junior high
school students in Bogor Regency. This study employed a quantitative
approach using a survey method. The research sample consisted of 84
students from three private junior high schools in Bogor Regency. Data
analysis techniques included simple linear regression, multiple linear
regression, F-test, t-test, correlation analysis, and coefficient of
determination. The results of the study indicate that: (1) there is a
significant simultaneous influence of linguistic intelligence and learning
independence on the English learning achievement of private junior high
school students in Bogor Regency, as evidenced by a significance value of
0.110 < 0.05 and an F-calculated value of 4.800 > F-table value of 3.108;
(2) there is a significant influence of linguistic intelligence on the English
learning achievement of private junior high school students in Bogor
Regency, as shown by a significance value of 0.024 < 0.05 and an Fcalculated value of 5.295 > F-table value of 3.957; and (3) there is a
significant influence of learning independence on the English learning
achievement of private junior high school students in Bogor Regency, as
indicated by a significance value of 0.004 < 0.05 and an F-calculated
value of 8.789 > 3.957 at the specified significance level
